Behaviour Interventionist - Casual Position

JOB SUMMARY

The Behaviour Interventionist implements individualized plans as determined and directed by the multidisciplinary team for assigned children.  Therapy sessions are centred based.

QUALIFICATIONS

Some post secondary training in the human service field is required and experience with pre-school aged children.  Experience working with children in the field of Autism would be an asset.

Supported Child Development Program Assistant - Casual Position

JOB SUMMARY

The Supported Child Development Program Assistant provides extra staffing to community early-learning centres to promote the inclusion of children with developmental needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred:  Early Childhood Special Educator Diploma/Certificate and Licence to Practice as an Early Childhood Special Educator.
• Required:  Early Childhood Educator Diploma/Certificate and Licence to Practice as an Early Childhood Educator.
• Experience working with young children with development disabilities and challenging bahaviors
• Must meet criteria set by the Community Care Facilities Branch (Licensing)
• Must have access to reliable vehcile and BC Driver's License.
