How We Are Funded
The Central Okanagan Child Development Association is a charitable non-profit organization.
The organization depends heavily upon financial support from the Province of British Columbia, local community service clubs and organizations, as well as corporate and private donations. Tax deductible receipts are issued for all donations.
Fundraising and donations provide specialized equipment and toys, and assist with the general operation of the centre.
We thank the following organizations for the continued support.

Help Us to Realize Our Vision
Twenty-five years ago the COCDA, then known as the Okanagan Neurological Association, gathered funds and built the Bernard Avenue Building. We have more than tripled our service output since then.
When we moved in we were receiving approximately 350 referrals a year and now we receive close to 1,500 referrals a year and the numbers keep climbing. Our staff has increased from 25 to 95. Consequently, we need more therapy space to provide service.
2011 will signify the start of a $8,000,000 Capital Campaign to build a new extension at our current location on Bernard Ave.
Your donation will help us to realize our vision.
